1、 四位数的年份，一般前两位数为一个单位，后两位数为一个单位，依次按基数词读出，但要注意千年的读法。

1999读作nineteen ninety-nine

1806年读作eighteen and six, eighteen hundred and six

2018年读作two thousand and eighteen或twenty eighteen.

1900年通常读作nineteen hundred

A、 单独表达”……世纪”时，century前直接用序数词即可；序数词前用定冠词

在19世纪 in the nineteenth（19th） century

B. 在表达“在……世纪……年代”时用“in the +带整十年份的复数形式或在整十年份后加-s”。初期、中期、末期分别early, mid-,和late表示

在19世纪30年代 in the 1830s/1830’s

在20世纪90年代中期：in the mid-1990s/mid-1990‘s

5、 表示某年某月某日，英式英语通常是“日、月、年”，美式英语通常是“月、日，年”
