临江仙

阚家蓂

银汉收波星斗敛，碧天一镜空明。

乱蛩林下诉秋声。

人同霜叶瘁，心似月华清。

寂寞寒窗和梦锁，残花浊酒无情。

夜来几度只魂惊。

独回还独往，何处觅归程。

阚家蓂（1921～2012），女，安徽合肥人。求学并定居美国。

美国色拉古斯大学地理学硕士，任职麻省理工学院，后任台湾大学及文化大学教授。

有《阚家蓂诗词集》等。

KAN Jiaming (1921-2012), female. The poet studied and settled in the USA. She obtained the master’s degree in geography at Syracuse University. The poet worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and later served as a professor at Taiwan University and Chinese Culture University. She authored Kan Jiaming’s Poetry Anthologyand other works.（邵瑞雪译）

Riverside Daffodils

The Milky Way dims and stars withdraw light;

The blue sky looks like a mirror bright.

The grasshoppers disturbed in the trees shrill;

Like the frosted leaves I feel ill;

Like the moon cool, my heart is chill.

My dream’s locked inside the window cold;

Senseless are coarse wine and flowers old.

At night I’m startled and taken aback.

Alone, I come or go, alack;

Now where is my way to go back?
